We dearly appreciate the authors, illustrators, gatekeepers and industry pros who shared their insights and inspirations. We’re so grateful to our readers, signal boosters, and of course our wonderful reporters⁠— Carol Coven Grannick, Kim Rogers, Rebecca Kirshenbaum, Elisabeth Norton, and Linda Joy Singleton.

We send out extra love and appreciation to all the teachers, librarians, booksellers, writers, parents, industry professionals who’ve navigated a hard year, some of them suffering loss, all of them working for hope, kids and a brighter future with books for young readers.

At this time, Cynsations is officially going on summer hiatus until after Labor Day weekend. Behind the scenes, we will be working on future posts to be ready for our return.
