Thank you to everyone who joined us over the 2021-2022 academic year!

We dearly appreciate the authors, illustrators, gatekeepers, and industry professionals who shared their insights and inspirations. We’re so grateful to our readers, signal boosters, and of course our wonderful reporters — Rebecca Kirshenbaum, Elisabeth Norton, Linda Joy Singleton, Clara Hammett, Helen Kampion, Michael Leali, and Veeda Bybee.

We send out extra love and appreciation to all the teachers, librarians, booksellers, writers, parents, industry professionals who’ve navigated another hard year, some of them suffering loss, all of them working for hope, kids and a brighter future with books for young readers.

At this time, Cynsations is officially going on summer hiatus until after Labor Day weekend. Behind the scenes, we will be working on future posts to be ready for our return.
