Cynsational Notes

Elisa says: “I put this trailer together on my own with the help of my sister Susannah, who is a producer, and the alumni and current students of my former high school.

“I wrote the script; we had students act and light and style it. (In fact they edited their own versions for their video class in school….) An alum who’s now studying film at NYU filmed and edited it. We got the music from a friend’s brother’s band and my brother-in-law, who does post-production sound work on film, did the sound edits.

So it was truly a team effort and done on a budget of sandwiches for the crew!

“Extra bonus fact: Apparently the mansion we used (which belongs to a friend of one of the students) has been used in an M. Night Shyamalan film.”
