Event orders are assigned a 40% discount
Regular shipping is free (though you will be charged if expedited shipping is necessary) and the books are fully returnable. You are responsible for any return shipping charges you may incur. If you think you may need to return books, you’ll want to hold onto your packing slip to include with the return shipment.
If you are a school or other non-profit organization you should fax me a copy of your tax exemption certificate (*the number alone is not sufficient*) and you will not be charged sales tax.
When you are ready to place the order—usually about 3-4 weeks prior to the event—simply e-mail or fax me the names and number of books you would like to order, where you would like them to be shipped (include a contact name and phone number please), and the event date. If you’d like the order to be placed under a specific PO#, please be sure to specify, otherwise a PO# will be assigned to you. You will receive an invoice along with the shipment (it is the same as the packing slip). Candlewick Press books are distributed by Random House, so you’ll notice the Random House logo on the invoice and possibly the boxes of your Candlewick books. Your check should be made out to Random House after the event.
